For Sale: 1965 Ford Mustang in Hendersonville, Tennessee for sale in Hendersonville, TN
Vehicle Description Selling my Beautiful Pony Mustang! 1965 Mustang Coupe with 24,000 original miles.
It has a 200cui engine and a straight 6 cylinder, 3-speed transmission.
It is in excellent condition, not a scratch on it.
This Pony was manufactured in Detroit and has been a Tennessee car its entire life.
Have owned it as the 3rd owner since May 2020.
Bought it from a collector's estate who had it restored in 1981 and only drove it 3K miles in 37 years.
It has been stored and pampered for 4 decades.
A lot of original documents on this car including the driver's manual and advertisement for the 65.
Also, have a set of original keys for the ignition and trunk.
Keep in mind this is an early edition Pony (some components indicate possibly pre-production), so there is no A/C or power steering.
I have enjoyed taking this to classic car shows and a Sunday drive on occasion.
I am downsizing and will be moving soon and will not have extra garage space to store this beauty.
I have had the engine and mechanics gone over by a classic collector auto shop and some repairs have been made:
replaced manifold; new shifter kit; new u-joints.
Runs wonderfully.
Asking $24,900 (NADA has retail for this car between $22k-$34k) 2024, will be the 60th Anniversary of the original Pony Mustang.
