A. Specialized
Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes knowledge of electronic theories and converting theoretical ideas into practical applications; skills of working with programmable logic controllers (PLC), , Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), fire alarm systems, electronic intrusion detection system, access control system, CCTV systems and components; Using design characteristics, operation, and functions of the above systems to align, tune, and adjust circuits and relays as required; working extensively with IP addresses on CCTV systems, firewalls, manage switches and network video recorders. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-08); OR B. Education:
Two full years of progressively higher level graduate education; or a master's degree or equivalent leading to such a degree with a major study in a subject related to the position to be filled such as Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Electronics/Electrical Technology, or Electronics/Electrical Technician. Experience:
Combinations of successfully completed graduate level education in excess of the amount required for the next lower grade level may be used to qualify applicants for this position. Determine your total qualifying experience as a percentage of the experience required for the grade level; then determine your education as a percentage of the education required for the grade the grade level; then add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal 100 percent to qualify for this position. (To compute the percentage, divide you total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of graduate education by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify). Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
