Aladdin has an opening for an Injection Molding Setup Technician Trainee on our second shift operation (2:45 p.m. - 11 p.m.) and third shift (10:45 p.m. - 7:00 a.m).
This position that requires a good knowledge of all aspects of the injection molding process including but not limited to mold setting, process setup, troubleshooting, and basic machine maintenance. The job also requires working with RIM equipment, robots, and other ancillary equipment.
The successful candidate will:
Understand the function and operation of injection molding machines and molds
Be able to effectively troubleshoot all problems within the injection molding process
Perform mold and color changes
Optimize machine parameters for greater efficiency
Operate and troubleshoot all auxiliary equipment including robots, conveyors, RIM, equipment, etc.
Be responsible for accurate counts of production
Read and understand engineering drawings of parts
Use measuring gauges and instruments to ensure quality parts
Work in a safe manner and maintain cleanliness and order in the department
Perform basic maintenance on injection molding machines and other equipment
1-2 years minimum injection molding setup experience
Excellent technical and communication skills with the ability to solve problems and prevent them from reoccurring
Ability to perform work under minimal supervision
Good computer skills
Ability to work with others to solve problem
Opportunity for add'l $.60 / hour with skill set certifications

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
