1K a year 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago Intake Specialist Position Overview This position is responsible for triaging all inquiries related to scheduling initial consultations for law firm services.
Duties include answering the phone, interviewing caller for needs and scheduling appropriately using the JMECL intake procedure.
Callers that are not a good fit will be appropriately referred.
Intent is to improve consult fit and increase client retention.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of relevant experience; customer service.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong ability to take on a large quantity of information quickly, analyze, and appropriately code situation.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision and direction.
Attention to detail critically important with strong analytical skills.
High level of skill with computer programs required, including Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher and Power Point.
Responsibilities Primary Duties Perform high quality intakes according to JMECL process and procedures, including but not limited to appropriate scheduled consults for estate planning, elder care protection planning and life care planning, sending out confidential planning workbooks, introduction videos and rescheduling postponed/canceled appointments promptly.
Educate callers about the firm's services and service model through direct communication.
Manage and further develop the firm's DRIP (Developing Relationships In Progress) program.
Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, a desire to help others and be comfortable working with older people, people with disabilities, their families, and other professionals.
Provide Outreach Coordinator with monthly referral analysis reports.
Assist in updating referral source spreadsheet.
Provide Office Manager with consult-based metrics.
Collateral Duties Serve on the technology team.
Learn and assist with all aspects of IT at JMECL.
Assist with Medicare counseling as needed.
Serve on the marketing and technology teams.
Additional Requirements Maintain highest standard of confidentiality for the firm's clients.
Possess a professional appearance and demeanor.
Work independently.
Valid Tennessee driver's license and reliable vehicle.
This position is eligible to work remotely on an as needed basis.
