7K a year The position of the Loan Assistant would be responsible for assisting loan officer(s) in performing various duties regarding loan applications and closings.
The position of Loan Assistant requires the individual to be fully knowledgeable and skilled in all areas of lending and is expected to provide support to the lending staff.
The duties required of the Loan Assistant include, but are not limited to:
Tracking and resolving financial exceptions Tracking and resolving document exceptions Ordering/processing inspections request Documenting loan denials, withdrawn applications, etc.
Work with the Mortgage department in assisting clearing loan conditions on residential loan applications Communicating with the loan processors throughout the loan process including monitoring the status of the loan and communicating closing details Sending applications to borrowers Requesting credit reports and ensuring red flags are completed Obtaining insurance for loan closings Attend closing and notarize required documents Pull CRS reports Other duties as assigned.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
