- Assist orthodontists in providing patient care during orthodontic procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments - Take dental x-rays - Assist with dental impressions and digital scans - Provide chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and care instructions - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using medical coding and documentation systems - Utilize Wave software for scheduling appointments and managing patient information - Collaborate with the orthodontic team to ensure efficient workflow and patient satisfaction Requirements:
- Previous experience as an orthodontic assistant preferred, but not required - Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, instruments, and materials - Familiarity with medical coding and documentation practices - Proficiency in using Wave or similar electronic medical record systems - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment - Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and patient needs - Pediatric experience is a plus - CAD/CAM experience is a plus If you are a motivated individual with a passion for orthodontics, we invite you to join our team.
